Deleted Files, Lost data, Evidence and Information Collection

Adam can recover deleted files from USB flash drives, removable media, camera media and hard disk drives and copy it to another medium or return it to its original state. If you have misplaced a file or directory it may be recoverable. Using disk imaging and data recovery software in Linux the success rate of recovering data is very good depending on the state of the hardware.

Some common faults are accidentally deleting files or folders, formatting memory cards on your camera or flash drive. Files can be recovered if nothing has been written in its place, when something is deleted the computer marks the file system as 'free' and allows other data to be written in that area. To improve chances of recovery it's best not to use the disk at all.
